This wonderfully delightful couple had their lucky day celebrated at the georgeous Clouds Estate in Stellenbosch (Highly Recommended Venue! and I know that gorgeous is spelled a little differently, inside joke ;)

Pink was the theme and even Elvis helped to open the dance floor! Loved that!

We live in a blessed area of the country, just at look at this! But Blink as you missed it, it was only visible for about 15minutes last night. Feel free to download it and use it as a desktop picture.

This was made from a series of shots "stitched together in Photoshop CS4, shot on my Nikon D3, the final image is a massive 40 MEGAPIXEL file! If you'd like to order a super big print, please contact me!

Dear readers and followers of my blog, I did a recent count and unfortunately it's not exact cause I did shoot a couple of weddings in film a long time ago of which I have nothing to show but of those that I have to show I have reached the 60 wedding count! Officially a master now :) I have reached my elusive "Black Belt" in wedding photography and may there be many more, it has been an exciting journey so far!

This wonderful couple had a magical day at Strandkombuis in Yzerfontein. It was so realaxed and fun. Sorry for the late posting on this! Yikes :)

I just loved the coloring scheme on that day, everyone had to wear shades of white and the bride had a blue dress.

I have been so busy editing and shooting I havnt had time to update my blog in ages.. Just some news.. I am working on roughly about 9 weddings at the moment. I am also busy getting ready for my first commissioned job overseas (well not entirely overseas but in a neighboring country). I'm doing a fashion story for Soul magazine and we are going to the Dead Pans in Namibia, flying up next week for a couple of days! SO excited about this!

These photos were taken with my new Nikon D3, except the the last two pics that were shot with flash. (I just got my D3 brand spanking new out the box that day and didn't have time so play around with the flash system.)

This polish model hails from Germany and it was a delight shooting her again. Styling done by Crystal Birch and Makeup by Amore Birch.
